Typography

Mixage is the font family for advertising, marketing publications, signage, web site, etc. It has been chosen for its compatibility with the UVA Health System signature and its clean, contemporary style. All weights, (book, medium, bold, etc.) and styles (italic, etc.) may be used.

The consistent use of this recommended font will help establish typography as a recognizable brand identity element, while reinforcing a unified family appearance among communication materials. Verdana may be used as a substitute for Mixage in non-design programs or applications, such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint®. Verdana is the preferred text font for use in office form templates.
